About Avalon Light Photoart
I have been interested in wildlife and the natural world since I was a child and was first interested in photography in the mid 1980's. However, it wasn't until I re-established my interest in photography with digital in 2007, that I combined the two interests. Since then, I have worked hard to improve my landscape photography and am gradually doing the same with wildlife, so I now have some photographs I'm happy with.
During the week, I am a Biomedical Scientist, working in Microbiology, a role I have been playing in one guise or another for 20 years now. It doesn't have the same appeal as photography though.
