The reindeer in the Cairngorm Reindeer Park are free ranging animals, in a huge enclosure. Some of the herd actually spend large parts of the year outside of the enclosure, being well adapted for survival in the harsh conditions. Despite essentially roaming wild, because of their habituation with humans, they are very approachable, allowing images that wouldn't normally be possible.
