Blake Gardens at Night

During the winter of 2014, several major flooding events occured across Somerset. During the tidal surge from a deep area of low pressure, coupled with the spring tides, Blake Gardens in Bridgwater flooded, as it had one month earlier. This time flood defences were erected to protect St Saviours Avenue and they held, protecting the houses from further flooding.
