Acrobatic Hobby

The Hobby is one of the greatest flyers in the bird world, surpassing even the closely related Peregrine and the Swift, in fact it has been known to hunt Swifts. More commonly, it hunts the fast moving dragonflies and often eats them on the wing. It is probably a dragonfly that has caught the eye of this bird, resulting in a sudden change of flying direction.
