Female Southern Hawker

Female Southern Hawker dragonfly (Aeshna cyanea) at Shapwick Heath in Somerset. The dragonfly had been flying around for quite a few minutes, while I was watching it, coming quite close at times. In the end I was quite dizzy, until it decided to land in deep shadow.
