Kilve Beach is a real joy for photographers, as well as geologists and palaeontologists. It seems to have an endless variety of possibliities. This time, I timed my visit to coincide with the outgoing tide, partly due to curiosity. The huge rock pools, made getting to the water's edge impossible, but the combination of the colourful sunset and reflections added impact. Use of a reverse ND3 Grad, plus a polariser/warming filter evened out the exposure.
