Wave Explosion

It was one of those evenings where I was determined to get my feet wet, despite wearing boots. The plan had been to photograph the waves with the sun setting, but the timing was out by about 15 minutes. By the time the sun set, the rocks seen in the midground were almost completely submerged, by which time, I'd made a hasty retreat.
